DHCP Server configuration

Give an IP address to the DHCP server.

Configure the DHCP services from the services tab. Make sure the On radio button is clicked. select the already created DHCP pool which is serverPool. Since this blog is intended to show the basic DHCP configuration , the Default Gateway and the DNS server fields are left as it is. Make sure to click save if you make any changes to the existing pool. From this point, the DHCP configuration is completed.

Click the DHCP client 1 and select the DHCP radio button from the IP configuration .The PC is assigned with the IP address retrieved from the DHCP server. Do the same on DHCP client 2 as well.
